credited with quotes

I love it when i see that people are credited with quotes that i know were said at least a hundred years before they were born, sometimes thousands of years and in a different language. Benjamin Franklin was a master at it. And i think to myself someone out there thinks this person is the smarts person that ever lived. Maybe you're smart when you have the cents to steal from the best, I’m paraphrasing a Mark Twain quote. Any way i like it, it’s not like everyone is going to read Aristotle or Shakespeare so they can get it from some actor that’s ok. And yes i do know that most of Shakespeare’s work was not original, as well as Aristotle being a student of Plato, and Plato was a student of Socrates. That’s kind of my point the only reason we know them is because someone is passing it on. If actors are the ones that they’ll listen to then good for them for listening, maybe we’ll learn something that way. :)
