The house work of Sisyphus

In Greek mythology Sisyphus was a Sisyphus was a cruel Greek king who was punished to push a large rock up on a steep hill, only to find it rolling back on nearing the top. Ever since, he has been known for pushing the rock tirelessly till eternity.

That is what house work is you do the same thing over and over and you have to watch as everyone around you undoes the work you've done. Then you're told over and over again that you aren't doing enough, and it's not really work is it.
